Reporting to the Egypt General Manager, you will be responsible to deliver business growth, platform quality, experience and attractiveness for our courier partners. You will do this by delivering business insights via analytics, driving process optimization, partnering on product innovation, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness and building scalable processes and capabilities to address the next leg of the Egypt growth strategy. You’ll partner closely with the local operations and central functional teams on local insights, process mapping and project planning.
We’re looking for a true all-star who can define and set strategy and structure while digging into details and connecting the dots – working closely to build an operational cadence with various Central and Country Teams. You’ll come with a track record of building models and systems tied directly to the top and bottom-line results of the organization, ideally with demonstrated proficiencies in discovering and designing processes for scale. Communication skills, emotional intelligence and leadership capabilities are key in a fast-paced environment, including a diverse set of stakeholders all over the world.
What You’ll Do
- Set vision, strategy and operationalize for the vertical within Country Operations.
- Align vision and plans with Central Operations
- Forge external and internal partnerships to explore new modalities and leverage existing platform synergies.
- Deliver superior on-boarding and lifecycle engagement experience to ensure our delivery partner ecosystem has a unique value proposition and is a source of strategic competitive advantage.]
- Work closely with multiple internal cross-functional stakeholders to leverage delivery capabilities, articulate insights, align on shared objectives.
- Provide inputs to the overall business strategy; identifying actionable insights basis advanced data analytics
- Effectively navigate a matrixed environment with local operations, product, marketing, strategy, finance and other senior leadership.
What You’ll Need

- Financial or Business related qualification
- 4+ years of experience in operations management, management consulting, investment banking, strategy work or related experience, in a large business or a growing a startup
- Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business acumen through analytical thinking to assess process performance and financial viability
- Proven stakeholder and project management experience
- Hands-on experience with data. Excel modelling skills necessary, proficiency in SQL a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starting: Ability to work independently, high adaptability to change and the ability to execute quickly.
- Curious and eager to learn : You are interested in all things and can build up skills and knowledge very fast to become a recognized subject matter expert amongst your peers
